i'm trying to get my head around frazetta's colouring technique:

these are my doodles, they're definitely not as vibrant so i need to go back to the drawing board and see if i can get that warmness through. once i've cracked it, i'll get the acrylics out!

So these started life as ink drawings that were going to be used in an animation. I think its starting to go down a new direction, so most of these elements won't be needed. but they're pretty handy to keep around and hopefully i can use them in the future for more fun compositions.

hi i did this quick doodle a little while ago and decided to try and model it up this weekend, so here's the progress so far:

here's a quick breakdown of how i modelled it - i tend to make a basic mesh in Cinema 4d and them import it into Zbrush to resculpt and add more details. So her chest is a bit of a mess at the moment but once i get the hands done, i'll clean it up in Zbrush

so for the first half we decided to work through a list of exercises; the studio changed things up a bit by letting the model decide how long her poses were gonna be so we had no idea how long we had for each pose.
